Pen Yr Ole Wen is a fantastic mountain that rises steeply from the banks of Llyn Ogwen. It is the 7th highest mountain in Wales and a similar height to Scafell in England. The hike up offers some fantastic scrambling opportunities, some navigational puzzles, and some brilliant ridgeline walking. A fantastic day out for all the family!
